Before Your Visit

When you are referred to Dallas Endodontics for a procedure, our treatment process typically begins with an in-office consultation. You will meet with one of our endodontists so we can assess your condition and recommend a treatment plan. After your consultation, our team will assist you in scheduling your treatment.

When you referred to Dallas Endodontics for a procedure, our treatment process typically begins with an in-office consultation. You will meet with one of our endodontists so we can assess your condition and recommend a treatment plan. After your consultation, our team will assist you in scheduling your treatment.

To streamline our treatment process, we ask every patient to complete some forms on the online portal prior to their appointment. During your initial consultation, please provide the following documents and information to your treatment team:

  • Referral documents and X-rays from your general dentist. We rely on our patients’ help facilitating our acquisition of all this information.
  • A detailed list of all current medications, both prescription and over-the-counter medication entered into our patient portal
  • Patients must also notify the Dallas Endodontics team of any medical conditions that may interfere with treatment, such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
  • Insurance card and government-issued identification.
  • Parents or legal guardians must accompany patients under the age of 18.
  • You may also need to plan for transportation to and from your treatment, but that will be discussed with you during your consultation

We request that all patients refrain from taking any over-the-counter and prescription pain medications for at least six hours prior to a scheduled procedure or any diagnostic tests performed at our office. These medications can influence the results or cause complications during endodontic treatment.
